Podvodnik co se za vydaval za me, aby ziskal pristupy na me ucty

V noci se nekdo pokousel nabourat do mych uctu. Zacali mne chodit emaily, ze nekdo klikl na link zapomenute heslo.

Rano me vola hosting firma, ze se nekdo vydava za me. Chtel zmenit presmerovani emailu, dostat se na ruzne moje ucty, apod. Nejdrive si mysleli, ze to jsem ja. Pak prisli na to, ze ne. Dokonce poslal kopii pasu, jako dukaz, ze skutecne je John Vanhara.

V emailech vidite strategii co takovi podvodnici delaji. Porad pisou dokola to stejne a doufaji, ze jim nekdo vyhovi. Rozciluji se, nadavaji..

Porovnani podnikani v CR a USA

Porovnat rozdily mezi podnikanim v USA a CR je hodne tezke. Je to kazdpoadne subjektivni. Takze se to da velmi tezko vysvetlit nekomu kdo si nezazil oboji. Ale vcera me napadl velmi dobry nazorny priklad kdyz jsem zadaval kampane na PPC (pay-per-click). Je celkem jedno jestli je to PPC Google Adwords nebo treba Facebook Ads. Jde o to na jaky trh reklamu zamerujete. A to ukazuje rozdily v pristupy. Zadavat reklamu PPC si muze zkusit kazdy z tepla sveho domova. A je to vyborny priklad, ktery ukazuje rozdily mezi podnikanim v CR a USA.

1. CR

  • Zadate kampane a okamzite vam zacnou chodit desitky nebo stovky lidi na stranky.
  • Vase reklama se za chvili zobrazuje na prvnich pozicich a zustane tam i kdyz pozdeji snizite cenu za klik.
  • Cena za klik neni vysoka (obzvlast v porovnani s trhem v USA). Neni problem platit za klik 10 centu a mene. V USA se vam takova reklama ani nebude zobrazovat.
  • CTR (click through rate) je 10-ti nasobne vetsi v porovnani s reklamami v USA. Kdyz podobna reklama v USA ma 0.2% CTR tak v CR to je 2%. Kdyz je CTR 0.5% v USA tak v CR to je 5%.
  • Reklama zamerena na obsah (content pres AdSense) dokonce prinasi konverze. V USA se vam to jeste nestalo.
  • Mate pocit, ze to je vse relativne jednoduche a uspech se docili velmi brzo.
  • Bohuzel brzy zjistite, ze trh v CR neni zas tak velky a rust je docela omezeny. Objednavky vam budou chodit, ale nebude jich pribyvat tolik kolik byste chteli. Ale vyhodou je, ze vsechno jde relativne snadno.

2.USA

  • Rozhodnete se zadat kampane na PPC na nejake sluzby nebo produkty zamerene na americky trh. Prvni mensi problem je jazykova bariera. Jako cech nevite presne jake vyrazy se mohou pouzivat, nemate kulturni zazemi, neznate zvyklosti… proste je to slozitejsi nez delat stejnou vec v cestine.
  • Zadate kampane a i kdyz date velmi vysokou cenu za klik tak se reklamy vubec nezobrazuji. Proc? Protoze v USA je obrovska konkurence. Mam zkusenosti dat treba kampane s nekolika dolary za klik a stejne se ani nezobrazuji, protoze je cena porad nizka.
  • Casem se dostanete do stadia kdy par lidi klika ale nemate zadne konverze. Chytate se za hlavu, ze to nikdy nemuze vydelavat. Zkousite pocitat statistiky kolik kliku potrebujete a zjistite, ze neni vubec jednoduche se prosadit. Konkurence je hodne a trh vypada obsazeny. Vase reklama se temer vubec nezobrazuje. Nebo kdyz se zobrazuje tak vas to stoji tolik penez, ze nervozne sledujete kazdy den statistiky a premyslite kdy to vzdat.
  • Jste frustrovany. Nechapate jak to ta konkurence dela. Mate pocit, ze se v USA neda prosadit.
  • Testujete, zkousite, nemuzete v noci spat… Boli vas hlava. Hledate reseni.
  • Projdete dlouhym obdobim frustrace a najednou se “rozsviti zarovka”. Prijdete na to jak to ma fungovat. Jinymi slovy vyladite vsechny detaily tak, ze to zacne fungovat. Je za tim spousta prace a casu, ale najednou to funguje.
  • Jakmile to funguje tak to stabilne prinasi velky pocet objednavek, ze se vam o tom ani nezdalo. Mate pocit, ze to vsechno funguje fantasticky a jste nadseni. Vydelavate vice nez jste kdy snili a pritom vidite, ze stale vyuzivate jen malou cast potencialu. Jste malicka firma, ktera pusobi na obrovskem trhu. Muzete rust mnohem vice. Ale i jako malicka firma jste nadseni jak to funguje.

Obraceni nevyhod ve vyhody v podnikani

Otevrel jsem si novy osobni ucet v male lokalni bance. Drive jsem mel ucty vzdy v tech nejvetsich americkych bankach. Ted zkousim neco jineho. Muj hlavni duvod bylo, ze velke banky maji ATM na kazdem rohu. V USA se ATM vyuziva jak k vyberum penez, tak i ke vkladani penez (a seku). A kdyz pouzivate ATM od vasi banky tak tam nejsou zadne poplatky. Kdyz treba pouzijete ATM jine banky k vyberu penez tak vam je nauctovan nejaky poplatek (treba $2).

Tahle mala banka, ktera pouze par pobocek krasne vyuzila svoji nevyhodu a promenila ji ve vyhodu. Misto budovani drahe site ATM se rozhodli radeji nabidnout svym zakaznikum, ze vyber z jakehokoliv ATM bude zdarma. A to rovnou po celem svete. Takze je uplne jedno jaky ATM si najdu a v jakekoliv zemi bude zadarmo. Kdyz me nejaka banka nauctuje penize tak o pulnoci mi moje banka ten poplatek automaticky vrati zpet na ucet.

Tohle se mi libi jako velmi dobre a kreativni reseni jak mala banka muze soutezit i s obrovskymi kolosy.

DHL propousti 9500 lidi a prestava posilat po uzemi USA

DHL propusti 9500 lidi a prestane nabizet posilani po USA. Tahle zprava byla docela sok.

Rano mi napsala manazerka z moji kancelare v Las Vegas, ze DHL uz nebude nabizet posilani zasilek po USA. Pouzivame DHL na posilani dokumentu pro zalozene firmy (incparadise.com).

Samozrejme neni problem prejit na FedEx nebo UPS. Ale je to docela sok videt tak velkou firmu jako DHL kompletne zavrit tak velky trh jako je USA (kde teprve nedavno zacali podnikat). Tusim ze v roce 2001/2002 se DHL pustilo na americky trh. A ted z neho ustupuji. Rikaji, ze chteji delat pouze mezinarodni posilani. Myslim, ze malokdo kdo prejde ke konkurenci si bude drzet DHL ucet jen na mezinarodni zasilky. Takze o ten trh asi taky casem prijdou.

Fedex a UPS si urcite mnou ruce. O jednoho konkurenta je mene. Docela bych si pral, aby se me stalo neco podobneho a ostatni konkurenti to taky vzdali:-).

Vyhody startupu

Hrozne rad zacinam nove startupy. Je totiz mnohem vetsi zabava a mensi risk ve vymysleni strategie.

Startup ma obrovskou vyhodu v tom jakou ma volnost ve zvoleni strategie oproto zavedenym firmam. Dam jednoduchy priklad. Existuje treba nejaky produkt nebo sluzba ktera stoji prumerne 10 dolaru. Vsechny existujici firmy na trhu maji podobne ceny ($8-$12). Existujici firmy maji tisice zakazniku a tisice objednavek. A maji slusne prijmy.

Startup zacina a nema zatim zadne zakazniky. A ma naprostou volnost jak nastavit ceny. Kdyz ceny nastavi jakkoliv tak nikoho nemuze nastvat (treba existujici zakazniky). Muze si vymyslet jakoukoliv strategii. Muze byt nejdrazsi nebo nejlevnejsi. Nebo dokonce muze vse nabidnout zadarmo. A vymysli, ze bude vydelavat penize na necem jinem.

Pro zabehle firmy to je ale slozitejsi. Firma vi, ze treba ma 10,000 objednavek mesicne. Takze pri 10 dolarech vydela $100,000 mesicne. Kdyz se rozhodne, ze bude uctovat polovinu tak najednou prijde o $50,000 prijmu. Jenze takove rozhodnuti nemuze udelat nejak lehkovazne. Zavedena firma muze mit naklady nebo zavazky (treba pujcky, zamestnance, apod.). Takze udelat rozhodnuti, ktere zrusi 50% prijmu je velmi tezke rozhodnuti.

U startupu je to jednoduche. Kdyz nastavi ceny dobre tak je uspesny, kdyz ne tak se nic nedeje (jen neziska zakazniky) a ma volnost znovu zmenit strategii. Dokud neprijde na formuli, ktera bude fungovat.

Zavedena firma treba vidi, ze ztraci trosku pozici na trhu. Pritom je na tom porad velice dobre a vydelava spoustu penez. Startup je malicky a ma par zakazniku. Ale kazdym mesicem roste. Zavedena firma to vidi a nevi jake rozhodnuti udelat. Kdyz nic nezmeni tak se jednoho dne muze probudit a zjistit, ze maly startup vyrostl ve velkeho konkurenta.
